Lean ground beef<br />¾ C Onion, chopped<br />28 oz. can Diced tomatoes<br />24 oz. (3 cups) Tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce<br />1 C Cottage cheese<br />2 C Grated mozzarella cheese<br />2 tsp. Sugar<br />1 tsp. Parsley flakes<br />½ tsp. Dried oregano<br />1 Garlic clove, chopped<br />¼ tsp. Basil<br />1 ¼ tsp. Salt<br />½ tsp. Pepper<br /><br />Preparation:<br />1. Cook beef with onions in skillet. Drain fat.<br />2. Break up uncooked lasagna noodles into bite size pieces.<br />3. Combine all ingredients in crock pot and cook on low for 6 hours, stirring every few hours.<br /><br /> You can go heavy on the garlic, basil, and oregano if you’d like. Cream Cheese<br />1/4 C Butter or margarine<br />2 C. Biscuit Mix<br />1/3 C Milk<br />1/2 C Raspberry Jam (or any flavor or pie filling)<br /><br />Cut cream cheese and butter into biscuit mix. Blend in milk. Knead gently 8-10 times in bowl. Turn onto floured wax paper, roll to 16"x10". Invert onto baking sheet - remove paper. Spread preserves down center. Make 2 1/2" cuts at 1" intervals. Fold strips over filling (to look like a braid). Add onion and saute for 2 min. Sprinkle flour over the onions and cook about 5 min. stirring often. Gradually add chicken broth. add potatoes, salt, pepper, basil, <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">tabasco</span>, <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">and</span> garlic salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer 20 min. Stir occasionally. Stir in half & half and heat through. Warm milk in microwave. Combine butter and milk. Add yeast mixture to milk and butter until well mixed. Add beaten egg. Slowly add remaining dry ingredients and mix until dough separates from bowl. Knead for 2 min. on low speed. Let dough rise until about doubled in size. Roll out and either shape into rolls, loaves, or make into cinnamon rolls! let rise again for about an hour and bake at 350 for about 15 minutes or until golden- not brown! On a piece of plastic wrap, crunch the 3-4 ritz crackers on the middle of plastic wrap and put all the cheese mixture in a pile. Pick up the plastic wrap and put in a bowl to mold into a cheeseball. Refridgerate until ready to serve. Nestle's semi-sweet chocolate chips<br />1 c butter, in chunks<br />4 c sugar<br />1 can(13 oz.) evaporated milk<br />2 1/2 c mini marshmallows<br />2 tsp. vanilla<br /><br />Freeze 1 1/2 c mini marshmallows in plastic bag. Mix broken chocolate bar, chocolate chips and butter. Set aside. In a sauce pan, mix the sugar, evaporated milk and 2 1/2 c chocolate mixture. Beat by hand until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth. Stir in the frozen marshmallows, nuts and vanilla. Use Pam to coat bottom of pans and pour mixture into a 9x13 inch and 8x8 inch pan. Cover and refrigerate. Cut when cool. Yield 10 dozen pieces.<br /><br />(***Freezes really well for up to 3 months. Bake 20 minutes longer. Allow to cool, then ice with icing made with butter, powdered sugar and cherry juice. Cut as soon as possible. When they are crushed, mix them in with the cream cheese. Melt the chips in separate bowls. I always do this in the microwave. Roll the oreo cookies/cream cheese mixture into small balls and then dip them in either the white or chocolate chips and set them on a plate with wax paper to dry.
